Mistura Allison Researcher and Engagement Officer


Mistura Allison is Serendipity’s Researcher and Engagement Officer. She graduated from the University of Reading with a Bachelor’s Degree in History of Art and Architecture, and she holds a Masters of Arts in African Studies with Heritage from the University College London.

Her latest curatorial and research work includes I had a dream, led by curator Simon Njami, at the National Gallery in Rome (GNAM); It’s About Time, by Marysia Lewandowska, a Special Project curated by Ralph Rugoff for the Pavilion of Applied Arts at the International Art Exhibition La Biennale di Venezia; and Archiving the Past, Reflecting the Future, a Heritage Fund exhibition project showcased by Serendipity.

Mistura’s practice on the curation of cultural heritage has ignited natural advocacy for diversity in the arts and its programming.
