Holly Francis is Serendipity’s Intern. She is an aspiring choreographer and third year dance student at De Montfort University. Her interests lie in storytelling focussing on the human experience, and exploring different dance styles, such as contemporary and hip hop, fusing them to convey a message. She has been passionate about dance from a young age, taking inspiration from films and videos and copying what she saw in her bedroom. From there, she started dancing in after-school clubs and went on to study dance at A level prior to beginning her degree.
Holly has previously undertaken work experience with Motion House, a training intensive with Candoco Dance Company and danced with Aspire Dance throughout her school years. She is excited to work with Serendipity to learn about dance in a different way, help create space for artists to show their work, plan projects, and to research and document Black dance in the UK.
