Serendipity is looking for reliable and enthusiastic volunteers to support us with our projects including Let’s Dance International Frontiers and Black History Month in Leicester.
There are a variety of roles from assisting with office administration, fundraising and promoting, to gaining skills as front of house, artist liaison or event management. This is a perfect opportunity to gain real hands-on experience, and participate in the behind-the-scenes work it takes to organise and run performances.
We are looking for people aged 18 and over, who are passionate about bringing diversity to the forefront in the arts. You will be part of a dedicated team working alongside local venues and organisations, and artists from around the world.
Black History Month runs throughout October, showcasing the best in Black Arts and celebrating the heritage, history and culture of the African and African Caribbean community.
Let’s Dance International Frontiers launches on 29 April, and runs through May bringing diversity to the forefront in dance with a programme of local, national and international dancers and choreographers from the emerging to the established.
Volunteers will be required for training and support activities during the lead up to these programmes, there will be both day-time and evening shifts during the festivals themselves.
If you are interested in becoming a Serendipity volunteer, please email email@example.com for further information.
